  • Tonsillitis
  • Abnormal growths in the neck or on the vocal chords
  • Swallowing disorders and dysphagia (difficulty in swallowing)
  • Chronic sore throat
  • Meniere's Disease - a disease of the inner ear

Common procedures that are performed include:

  • Tonsillectomy
  • Ear Tubes
  • Sinus surgery
  • Throat surgery
  • Head/Neck surgery

What is an Otolaryngologist?

An Otolaryngologist is a physician specially trained and certified in the surgery and treatment of diseases/disorders affecting the ears, nose, and throat. They are often called ENT doctors. ENT physicians are unique because they are trained in both areas of surgery and medicine. When ears, nose, throat, or head/neck surgery is required, otolaryngologists do not need to refer their patients to other doctors, and can therefore offer individualized care.
